LEVERAGING THE POWER OF FOOTBALL TO DRIVE POSITIVE SOCIAL CHANGE

Football for the World works to remove barriers that prevent marginalized individuals or communities from gaining the benefits of play.

GEAR COLLECTION & DISTRIBUTION

Gear is often expensive or challenging to source for recipients and prevents participants from playing safely with the proper equipment.

Our equipment collection and redistribution network extends the life cycle of new or lightly used boots, balls, and other football/soccer equipment.

COMMUNITY
PROJECTS

70 percent of low-income communities in America lack access to green space, meaning that nature areas or parks, including soccer fields, are not easily accessible.

We work to ensure that all communities can gain the benefits of play through management of community driven projects that create, improve, and promote safe places for participants, such as our mini-pitch initiative.

EQUALITY & INCLUSIVITY

Many barriers such as sexism, racism, homophobia, stereotypes, cultural norms, or financial constraints exclude individuals from the game.

We work as the tireless advocate for any marginalized individual or group to fully participate in the game through the creation of leagues, pickup games, tournaments, after-school programs, and the facilitation of coaching education and additional training.
